Nail Files 21: Nails Inc. Special Effects Overglaze Polish - The Donmar Collection

I originally bought this Nails Inc. set from Sephora.com on clearance a few months back for $10.00.  I'm surprised I don't use this more often, because I really enjoy it, especially the Special Effects Overglaze Top Coat.

Chelsea Polish: deep plum - almost black
The Donmar Overglaze Top Coat: described as a red/green top coat
- I see plenty of green, but no reds, in my opinion. I've not ventured much when it comes to flake glitter nail polishes, but I really like it a lot.

I've mentioned this in the past, but I love nails inc. polishes.  They're smooth, easy to work with, and dry fast. I think this is because they apply rather thinly. This was a two quick coats. In my opinion, I think Chelsea is almost kind of a brownish-plum black.

One coat of the Overglaze Top Coat is definitely enough, but I thought two coats would make the finished result look more vibrant. Lastly, I added Seche Vite top coat, just in case the flakes want to peel off. That is probably not necessary, because when the Overglaze Top Coat dries, it feels smooth when you run your fingers over your nails, not chunky at all.

I love this confetti look. I'm just sorry I didn't post pictures of these polishes sooner, since they're harder to find now.
